Isaias "IC" Cruz Cristales is a 25yo artist based in Los Angeles, California. He has been exploring several mediums since starting high school in 2013, and has come to specialize in traditional illustration as well as developing a fundamental understanding for graphic design.
IC has grown an extensive portfolio since he started sharing his work online in 2018. After gaining traction on social medias for his drawing "Martinelli's & Sangaria" in 2020, IC has since worked with clients on logos, fliers, t-shirt graphics, sticker designs, and album covers. IC has also taken on intimate commissions including individual and couples' portraits, personalized gifts, and stylized caricatures.
Aside from commission work, IC enjoys making illustrations that reflect personal interests such as pop culture, music, fashion, video games, and even emotion. He tries his best to make each personal project a reflection of how he feels at the time, regardless of how profound or mundane the end result may seem. Even the silly ones have some emotion going on behind the scenes.
IC is currently finishing his BFA in the Entertainment Arts program at Cal State Fullerton. Besides sitting in traffic on the 91 or at his desk back home, you can catch IC displaying with his friends and fellow Los Angeles creatives around SoCal and North Hollywood; or catch him lined up outside Dover Street Market on Thursday mornings.
